We are thrilled to introduce our brand new Ottawa Muslim Youth Club (OMYC), a vibrant and engaging platform designed exclusively for the talented and ambitious young members of our community. This is an open invitation to all youth aged 10-19 years to embark on an incredible journey of personal growth, career/financial know-how, meaningful friendships, and profound Islamic knowledge.

Our Ottawa Muslim Youth Club aims to provide a safe and inclusive space where young individuals can connect, learn, and thrive. We have meticulously crafted a comprehensive program filled with enriching activities, empowering opportunities, mentorship and memorable experiences that will help our youth build essential skills and foster a strong sense of community.

Lively Debates: Engage in thought-provoking discussions on various topics relevant to our lives as young Muslims. Sharpen your critical thinking skills, express your opinions, and learn to articulate your thoughts confidently.
Inspiring Field Trips: Explore the world around us through educational and enjoyable excursions. Whether we visit museums, nature reserves, or places of historical significance, these outings will broaden our horizons and create lasting memories.
Enlightening Guest Speakers: Learn from renowned scholars, successful professionals, and inspirational figures who will share their wisdom, experiences, and guidance. Their talks will empower you to strive for excellence in all aspects of life.
Sports and Recreation: Through organizing sports and gaming tournaments, game nights, outdoor adventures, and physical activities like hiking we strive to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and leadership skills.
Mentorship/Career Guidance: Through mentorship, the youth club plans to create an environment where aspiring individuals can find role models who inspire them to set and achieve ambitious goals. Mentors can offer personalized guidance, helping young people identify their strengths, passions, and interests, and align them with potential career paths. They can share their own professional journeys, highlighting both successes and failures, to foster resilience and determination among the club's members.
Weekly Meetups:
We will come together once a week, either in person or virtually, to engage in productive discussions, workshops, and fun activities. This regular gathering will strengthen our bonds, enhance our knowledge, and motivate us to excel.
Joining our Ottawa Muslim Youth Club will not only provide you with a space to develop essential life skills, career advice, mentorship but it will also enable you to connect with like-minded individuals, form lasting friendships, and deepen your understanding of Islam. Together, we can grow as individuals and contribute positively to our community
